Operating Instructions

Scanning Modes

The scanner supports three distinct scanning modes:

  • Manual Trigger Mode: Press the trigger button to scan each barcode individually.
  • Continuous Scanning Mode: The scanner continuously emits a scan beam, reading barcodes as they are presented.
  • Auto-sensing Scanning Mode: When placed on its stand, the scanner automatically detects a barcode in its field of view and scans it without requiring a trigger press, enabling hands-free operation.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Anyeast barcode scanner.

  • Scanner not fitting the stand: Ensure the scanner is correctly oriented and seated in the stand. The stand is designed to be adjustable for optimal positioning. If issues persist, contact customer support.
  • Scanner adds random numbers to barcodes: This can sometimes occur due to specific configuration settings. Refer to the detailed user manual (PDF) for instructions on resetting the scanner to factory defaults or adjusting data formatting options.
  • Scanning takes a few seconds or clicks: While the scanner is generally fast, occasional delays can occur. Ensure the barcode is clear, well-lit, and within the optimal scanning distance. Check for any obstructions on the scanner's lens. If using wireless modes, ensure a stable connection.
  • Difficulty with configuration: The scanner's advanced features are configured by scanning specific QR codes found in the comprehensive user manual (PDF). It is essential to keep this manual accessible for making changes to settings such as scanning modes, volume, or data formatting.
  • No vibration feedback: While the manual mentions vibration settings, some units may not include a vibration motor. If vibration is not felt after enabling it in settings, this may be the case.
