4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Charging Case
Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. The charging case can recharge the earbuds up to 3 times on the go, providing a total of 16 hours of music/talk time with the mobile charging case.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated in their respective slots.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a suitable USB power source (e.g., a computer USB port or a USB wall adapter).
- The battery capacity of the charging box is indicated by 3 LEDs. These LEDs will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
- A full charge for the earbuds provides approximately 4 hours of music/talk time.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your earbuds to a Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Ensure the earbuds are charged and removed from the charging case. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices. You should see "Hama Freedom Buddy" or a similar name appear in the list.
- Select the earbuds from the list to connect. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the indicator light on the earbuds may change.
- If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
5. Operating the Earbuds
5.1 Multifunction Button Controls
The earbuds feature a multifunction button for various controls:
- Play/Pause Music: Press the button once.
- Next Track: Double-press the right earbud button.
