Featuring a unique shark doodle design with LED lights, a self-righting hull, and a 2.4 GHz control system, it offers an engaging experience for users aged 8 and above. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the boat to ensure safe and optimal performance.

Safety Information

• Always operate the boat in open water, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
• Do not operate in saltwater.
• Ensure all hatches are securely closed before placing the boat in water to prevent water ingress.
• Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the propeller when the boat is powered on.
• Adult supervision is recommended for children under 14 years of age.
• Do not touch the motor immediately after use, as it may be hot.
• Always remove the battery from the boat and remote control when not in use.
• Use only the original charger and battery provided or recommended by the manufacturer.

Setup

1. Battery Installation and Charging

The DEERC HJ812 RC Boat uses a Lithium-ion polymer battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

• Boat Battery: Open the boat's top cover and battery compartment. Connect the boat battery to the charger. Plug the charger into a USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for full). Once charged, disconnect and carefully insert the battery into the boat's battery compartment, ensuring proper polarity. Secure the battery and close the compartment and top cover.
• Remote Control Batteries: The remote control requires 2x AA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert the batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

2. Pairing the Boat and Remote Control

The boat and remote control operate on a 2.4 GHz frequency, allowing for multiple boats to be used simultaneously without interference.

• Place the boat in water. The boat will automatically power on when its sensors detect water.
• Turn on the remote control. The indicator light on the remote will flash.
• Push the throttle stick (left stick) fully forward and then fully backward. The remote control light will become solid, indicating successful pairing.
• If pairing fails, turn off both the boat and remote, then repeat the steps.

Basic Controls

• Throttle (Left Stick): Push forward to accelerate, pull backward to slow down or reverse. The boat features full proportional throttle control for precise speed management.
• Steering (Right Stick): Push left to turn left, push right to turn right. The boat has full proportional steering for accurate navigation.
