Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V input port on the rear of the unit and plug it into a wall outlet. The device will power on and the display will illuminate.
  2. Antenna Adjustment: Fully extend the telescopic antenna for best radio reception. Adjust its position as needed to improve signal quality.
  3. Initial Scan (DAB/DAB+): Upon first power-on, the unit may automatically perform a full scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. If not, navigate to DAB mode and initiate a full scan through the menu options. This process may take a few minutes.
  4. Time and Date Setting: In DAB mode, the time and date are usually automatically synchronized via the DAB signal. If manual adjustment is required, refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for setting time and date.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.

Mode Selection

  • Press the Mode button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: DAB Radio, FM Radio, Bluetooth.

DAB/DAB+ Radio Operation

  1. Select DAB Mode: Press the Mode button until "DAB" is displayed.
  2. Full Scan: If stations are not found or you wish to update the station list, press and hold the Scan button (or navigate through the menu to "Full Scan"). The radio will scan for all available DAB/DAB+ stations.
  3. Station Selection: Use the Tune/Select knob or Previous/Next buttons to browse through the available stations. Press the Select button to confirm your choice.
  4. Volume Adjustment: Use the Volume +/- buttons or knob to adjust the sound level.
  5. Preset Stations: To save a station, press and hold the Preset button. Use the Tune/Select knob to choose a preset number (1-10) and press Select to save. To recall a preset, briefly press the Preset button and select the desired station.

FM Radio Operation

  1. Select FM Mode: Press the Mode button until "FM" is displayed.
  2. Auto Scan: Press and hold the Scan button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Manual Tuning: Briefly press the Previous/Next buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
  4. Volume Adjustment: Use the Volume +/- buttons or knob.
  5. Preset Stations: Similar to DAB mode, press and hold Preset to save, and briefly press to recall.

Bluetooth Operation

  1. Select Bluetooth Mode: Press the Mode button until "Bluetooth" or "BT" is displayed. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
  2. Pairing: On your smartphone or other Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for "Inscabin W20A" (or similar). Select it to pair. A confirmation tone will sound when successfully connected.
  3. Playback: Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the Inscabin W20A. Use the unit's controls or your connected device to adjust volume and track selection.

Alarm Settings

The Inscabin W20A supports two independent alarms.

  1. Set Alarm: Press and hold the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button.
  2. Adjust Time: Use the Tune/Select knob or Previous/Next buttons to set the hour and minute. Press Select to confirm each setting.
  3. Alarm Source: Choose between Buzzer, DAB, or FM as the alarm sound.
  4. Alarm Volume: Set the desired alarm volume.
  5. Enable/Disable Alarm: Briefly press the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.
  6. Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, press the Snooze button to temporarily silence it for a set period (e.g., 9 minutes).
  7. Stop Alarm: To turn off the alarm completely, press the Power button or the respective Alarm button.

Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.

  • Press the Sleep button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes, or Off).

Wireless Charging

The Inscabin W20A features a wireless charging pad on its top surface for Qi-compatible devices.

  1. Placement: Place your Qi-compatible smartphone or device centrally on the wireless charging pad.
  2. Charging Indicator: The display or a dedicated LED will indicate when charging is active. Ensure the device is properly aligned for charging to begin.
  3. Note: Thick phone cases or metallic objects between the phone and the charging pad may interfere with charging.

USB Charging Port

The USB port on the rear of the unit can be used to charge other electronic devices.

  • Connect your device's USB charging cable to the USB port on the Inscabin W20A.
  • Ensure the Inscabin W20A is powered on for the USB charging port to function.

Display Brightness Adjustment

The display brightness can be adjusted to suit your preference, especially for nighttime use.

  • Locate the Dimmer or Brightness button (refer to the specific button layout on your device).
  • Press the button repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels.

Maintenance
