2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Assembly

Your Shark Professional Steam Pocket Mop requires minimal assembly:

5. Setup and Operation

5.1 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Once steam is ready, begin mopping by moving the unit forward and backward over the floor surface.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Steam Pocket Pads

The Washable Steam Pocket Pads are designed for repeated use. After each cleaning session:

  1. Remove the pad from the mop head.
  2. Machine wash the pad separately with warm water using liquid detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as these can damage the pad's fibers.
  3. Tumble dry on a low setting or air dry.
  4. Do not wash pads with other lint-producing materials.

6.2 Emptying and Storing the Water Tank

After each use, or before storing for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the steam mop and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Open the water tank cap and carefully empty any remaining water into a sink.
  3. Close the cap.
