4. Setup and Installation

The Fookoo Wireless Backup Camera System is designed for straightforward installation. The wireless nature means no complex wiring between the cameras and the monitor. Ensure your vehicle operates on a DC 12-24V power system.

Both the monitor and cameras require power. The monitor can be powered via hardwire or the included car charger. Cameras are typically hardwired to a 12-24V power source on your vehicle.

1. Power the monitor via the car charger or by hardwiring it to a suitable power source.
2. Power the cameras by hardwiring them to a 12-24V power source on your vehicle.
3. Before permanent installation, it is recommended to test the system with a temporary power supply to ensure all components are working correctly and paired.

4.2 Camera Placement and Adjustment

The system includes both rear and side view cameras. Position them to cover your desired blind spots and provide optimal visibility. The camera lenses are adjustable for flexible viewing angles.

For vehicles pre-wired for Furrion mounts, a specific bracket adapter may be needed. Please contact Fookoo customer service for assistance if required.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Monitor Operation

The 7-inch monitor features capacitive touch buttons for intuitive control. These buttons offer quick response for safer operation while driving.

5.2 Screen Split Modes

The monitor supports various display modes, including full screen, dual-split screen, mirror view, quad-split screen, and H-split screen, allowing you to view feeds from multiple cameras simultaneously.

5.3 Loop Recording

The system features loop recording, which continuously records your driving. When the SD card is full, older footage is automatically overwritten by new recordings. This can serve as valuable evidence if needed.

The system includes a 32GB SD card and supports capacities from 16GB to 128GB.
