Operating the Chronograph
Your Spinnaker Hull watch features a chronograph function for precise time measurement.
Chronograph Functions:
- Central Chronograph Second Hand: Measures seconds when the chronograph is active.
- 60-Minute Counter (at 9 o'clock): Records minutes up to 60.
- 24-Hour Indicator (at 3 o'clock): Synchronized with the main hour hand, indicates AM/PM.
Using the Chronograph:
- Start: Press pusher A to start the chronograph. The central chronograph second hand will begin to move.
- Stop: Press pusher A again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the central chronograph second hand and the 60-minute counter.
- Reset: After stopping, press pusher B to reset the chronograph. All chronograph hands will return to their zero positions.
Split Time Measurement:
- Start: Press pusher A to start the chronograph.
- Split: Press pusher B to take a split time. The chronograph hands will stop, allowing you to read the intermediate time, while the internal timing continues.
- Resume: Press pusher B again to resume timing. The chronograph hands will instantly catch up to the ongoing elapsed time.
- Stop and Reset: Press pusher A to stop the chronograph, then pusher B to reset.
Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your Spinnaker Hull watch, regularly wipe the case and crystal with a soft, lint-free cloth. For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals, as these can cause damage and discoloration.
Water Resistance
Your watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM). This rating makes it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and light recreational diving.
- Always ensure the crown and pushers are fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.
- Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is submerged in water.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Battery Replacement
The Meca-Quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the battery is low, the second hand may jump in 2-second intervals. This indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch stops or runs intermittently. | Low battery. | Replace battery (refer to Maintenance section). |
| Date does not change at midnight. | AM/PM setting is incorrect. | Advance the time by 12 hours. |
| Chronograph hands do not reset to zero. | Requires chronograph hand position adjustment. |
|
| Moisture under the crystal. | Water resistance compromised. | Immediately take the watch to a qualified watchmaker for inspection and repair. Do not attempt to dry it yourself. |
