Setup

Assembly

The X-Terra PRO features a lightweight, 3-piece shaft design for easy assembly and portability. To assemble, connect the shaft sections securely. Attach the control pod to the upper shaft and the search coil to the lower shaft. Ensure all connections are firm before use.

Charging the Battery

The detector is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. To charge, connect the magnetic USB charging connector to the port on the control unit. Ensure a secure connection. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.

Initial Power On

• Field Mode: Best for fine coins and artifacts in open fields, offering deeper penetration and sensitivity to smaller targets.
• Beach Mode: Specifically designed for sand and saltwater environments, compensating for mineralization to find treasures underwater up to 16 ft (5 m).

Audio Control and Target Identification

The detector provides clear audio tones to distinguish between different target types and estimate their size and depth. It is compatible with both wireless and wired headphones for enhanced audio clarity. The large LCD display provides visual feedback on target identification numbers, depth, and discrimination settings.

Maintenance

Cleaning and Care

The X-Terra PRO is fully waterproof and submersible up to 16 ft (5 m). After use, especially in saltwater, rinse the search coil and lower shaft with fresh water. Wipe down the control unit with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Store the detector in a dry, cool place.
