1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ZEEMR Z1 MINI Projector. 3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Unboxing and Placement

Carefully remove the projector and all accessories from the packaging. Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the projector's DC input port and then plug the power cord into a wall outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.

3.3 Initial Power On

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn on the device. The projector will perform an automatic focus and keystone correction upon startup.

3.4 Projection Distance and Screen Size

The optimal projection distance varies depending on the desired screen size. Refer to the table below for recommended distances.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Navigating the User Interface (Dream UI)

The ZEEMR Z1 MINI Projector features a self-developed Dream UI for a lighter interface, faster speed, and optimized memory. Use the remote control to navigate through menus and select options.

4.2 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity

Access the Network settings to connect to 2.4G or 5G Wi-Fi networks for stable signal and fast transmission. The projector also supports Bluetooth for audio output to external speakers or headphones.

4.3 Input Sources

The projector supports various input sources including HDMI for external devices like laptops, gaming consoles, and TV sticks. USB ports are available for removable hard disks and other storage devices. A LAN network interface is also provided for faster and more stable wired network connections.

4.4 Autofocus and Auto Keystone Correction

The projector is equipped with AI autofocus and AI auto keystone correction. These features automatically adjust the image clarity and shape to ensure a perfectly rectangular and sharp picture, even when the projector is not perfectly aligned with the screen.

4.5 Audio Output

The projector features dual 5W Hi-Fi stereo speakers with built-in bass floats for 360° surround sound. It can also function as a Bluetooth audio device, allowing you to stream music directly to its speakers.

4.6 Image Quality and Color

The ZEEMR Z1 MINI supports 90% DCI-P3 color gamut standard and HDR10, providing a true cinema-grade visual experience with rich and accurate colors. The ZEEMR ACE image quality engine enhances picture quality for silkiness and clarity.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Dust-Proof Design

The ZEEMR Z1 MINI features an advanced fully enclosed optical machine, providing a dust-proof design that significantly extends the product lifespan to over 30,000 hours. This design minimizes dust accumulation on internal components, maintaining image quality over time.

5.2 Cooling System

A dual circulation cooling system ensures effective heat dissipation and noise reduction, preventing overheating and maintaining optimal performance. This system also helps reduce wear and tear on the internal optical path.

5.3 Cleaning

To clean the exterior of the projector, use a soft, dry cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and specialized lens cleaning solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Power

  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to the projector and the power outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • Check if the power adapter is damaged.

6.2 No Image or Distorted Image

  • Check the input source connection (HDMI, USB).
  • Ensure the correct input source is selected in the projector's menu.
  • Allow the automatic focus and keystone correction to complete. If the image is still distorted, try manually adjusting the projector's position.
  • Verify the lens is clean and free of obstructions.

6.3 No Sound

  • Adjust the volume on the projector and the connected source device.
  • Check audio output settings on the projector (e.g., ensure Bluetooth is not connected to an external speaker if you want sound from the projector's internal speakers).
  • If using an external audio system, ensure it is properly connected and powered on.

6.4 Wi-Fi Connection Issues

  • Ensure the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
  • Move the projector closer to the Wi-Fi router.
  • Restart the projector and the Wi-Fi router.
  • Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi band (2.4G or 5G).
