Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and dispose of them responsibly. Ensure all components are present: main unit, two 5L baskets, one 10L basket, and crisper plates.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the baskets and crisper plates with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space (at least 10-15 cm) around the back and sides for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance is fitted with a 3-pin BS UK plug.
- First Use (Burn-in): It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) before cooking food. This helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate initial odors. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this process; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
Operating Instructions
The Duronic AF34 offers versatile cooking options with its digital control panel and multiple presets.
Control Panel Overview:

- Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
- Temperature Controls (+/-): Adjusts cooking temperature (50°C to 200°C).
- Time Controls (+/-): Adjusts cooking time.
- Zone Select (1/2): Selects which cooking zone (left or right) to control.
- Preset Icons: 10 pre-programmed settings for common dishes (Preheat, Reheat, Grill, Bake, Roast, Broil, Steam, Cook, Toast, Dehydrate).
- Sync Cook: Synchronizes settings for both zones.
- Sync Finish: Ensures both zones finish cooking at the same time.
- Light Button: Activates the internal lights in the drawers.
Basic Operation:
- Place the crisper plate inside the desired basket(s).
- Place food into the basket(s). Do not overfill.
- Insert the basket(s) firmly into the main unit.
- Press the Power button to turn on the air fryer.
- Select the desired cooking zone (1 or 2) if using dual baskets.
- Adjust the temperature and time manually using the +/- buttons, or select a preset.
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
- You can pause cooking at any time by pulling out the drawer or pressing the Start/Pause button. Cooking will resume when the drawer is reinserted or the button is pressed again.
- The air fryer will beep when cooking is complete. Carefully remove the basket(s) and transfer food.
Using Sync Cook:
The Sync Cook feature allows you to apply the same cooking settings (temperature and time) to both 5L dual baskets simultaneously, ideal for cooking larger quantities of the same food.

- Insert both 5L baskets with food.
- Set the desired temperature and time for one zone.
- Press the "Sync Cook" button. The settings will be mirrored to the other zone.
- Press Start/Pause to begin cooking.
When using the 10L large drawer, the Sync Cook function can also be used to apply settings across the entire cooking area.

Using Sync Finish:
The Sync Finish feature is perfect for cooking two different items that require different cooking times but need to be ready simultaneously. The air fryer will automatically adjust the start time of the shorter program.

- Insert both 5L baskets with different foods.
- Set the desired temperature and time for Zone 1.
- Set the desired temperature and time for Zone 2.
- Press the "Sync Finish" button. The air fryer will calculate and delay the start of the shorter cooking cycle.
- Press Start/Pause to begin cooking.
Preset Functions:
The AF34 comes with 10 versatile presets to simplify your cooking. Each preset has a default time and temperature, which can be adjusted manually if needed.

Using the 10L Large Drawer:
The 10L large drawer is ideal for cooking bigger items like a whole chicken or a large batch of fries. It can also be used with a removable divider (sold separately) to create two separate cooking compartments within the large drawer.

Maintenance and Cleaning

- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Baskets and Crisper Plates: The non-stick, removable baskets and crisper plates are dishwasher safe. For handwashing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Avoid using metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials that could damage the non-stick coating.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Heating Element: If necessary, gently clean the heating element with a soft brush to remove any food residue. Ensure the unit is completely cool and unplugged.
- Storage: Store the air fryer in a cool, dry place once it is clean and completely dry.
