Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Placement: Place the record player on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessive vibration. Position the speakers on either side of the record player for optimal stereo separation.
  3. Platter Installation: Place the platter onto the spindle.
  4. Belt Installation: Locate the drive belt and carefully loop it around the motor pulley and the inner rim of the platter.
  5. Dust Cover: Attach the dust cover to the hinges at the back of the record player.
  6. Counterweight Adjustment:
    • Slide the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm.
    • Balance the tonearm so it floats horizontally.
    • Rotate the counterweight to achieve the recommended tracking force (refer to cartridge specifications, typically 1.8g - 2.2g for AT-VM95E).
  7. Anti-skating Adjustment: Attach the anti-skating weight to the tonearm's anti-skating post. The recommended setting usually matches the tracking force.
  8. Speaker Connection: Connect the included external speakers to the speaker output terminals on the rear of the record player using the provided speaker wires. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
  9. Power Connection: Connect the mains adapter to the record player's power input and then plug it into a wall outlet.
