Important Safety Information

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the kettle base in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • The kettle must be used only with the provided base.
  • Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.
  • Do not fill above the MAX fill line (0.45L) to prevent boiling over.

Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle for any damage.
  2. Clean: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX fill line (0.45L), boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power base into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle

  1. Remove the kettle from its power base.
  2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (0.45L).
  3. Close the lid securely.
  4. Place the kettle back onto the power base.

Temperature Selection and Boiling

  1. With the kettle on the base, the LCD display will show the current water temperature.
  2. Press the temperature button (thermometer icon) to cycle through the 7 preset temperature options:
    • 212°F (100°C) for Black Tea / Boiling
    • 194°F (90°C) for Oolong Tea
    • 176°F (80°C) for Brewed Coffee / Herbal Tea / Fruit Tea
    • 158°F (70°C) for Green Tea
    • 140°F (60°C) for Honey Water
    • 122°F (50°C) for Lemonade
    • 104°F (40°C) for Milk Powder
  3. Once your desired temperature is selected, press the power button (circle with line icon) to start the heating process. The display will show the water heating up.
  4. The kettle will automatically shut off once the selected temperature is reached.

Fast Boil and Keep Warm Function

The 600-watt heating element allows for rapid boiling, typically reaching boiling point in just 4 minutes for a full 0.45L capacity. After reaching the target temperature, the kettle can maintain the temperature for up to 30 minutes, ensuring your beverage stays warm without re-boiling.

Maintenance and Cleaning

General Cleaning

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • The interior of the kettle can be cleaned with a soft brush or sponge and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly.
  • The detachable lid and stainless steel filter can be removed and hand-washed. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
  • Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquid.

Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly:

  1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
  3. Pour out the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
  4. For stubborn deposits, you can gently scrub the interior with a non-abrasive sponge.
  5. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution designed for electric kettles and follow its instructions.

Troubleshooting
