5. Setup

6. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- Press the Power button (
) to turn the scale on. - Press and hold the Power button to turn the scale off.
Tare Function:
- Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
- Press the Power button once to zero out the weight of the container. The display will show "0.0g".

Mode Selection (M Button):
Press the 'M' button to cycle through the following modes:
- Manual Mode: Standard weighing and manual timer control.
- Auto-Mode for Espresso: Automatically tares the cup weight, starts the timer when liquid drips, and locks the result when dripping ends. Note: A flow rate too slow may terminate the timer early. In such cases, use Manual Mode.
- Auto-Mode for Pour Over Coffee: Automatically starts the timer when water is poured and locks results when the coffee appliance is removed.

Timer Function:
- In Manual Mode, press the 'M' button to start/stop the timer.
- Press and hold the 'M' button to reset the timer.

7. Charging
The BOMATA CS120 is equipped with a built-in 1200mAh lithium battery. To charge, connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the charging port on the side of the scale and to a suitable USB power source.
- The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.
- Most standard Type-C cables and fast chargers are compatible.
8. Maintenance & Cleaning
- Cleaning: Wipe the waterproof surface with a damp cloth. Do not rinse the scale under running water or immerse it.
- Storage: Store the scale in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Silicone Pad: The silicone pad can be removed and washed separately. Ensure it is dry before placing it back on the scale.
