Setup Instructions
1. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (A) out to position 2.
- Turn the crown (A) to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure the 24-hour subdial (if applicable) is correctly aligned for AM/PM.
- Push the crown (A) back to position 0 to start the watch.
2. Setting the Date
- Pull the crown (A) out to position 1.
- Turn the crown (A) clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the model) to adjust the date in the date window.
- Once the correct date is set, push the crown (A) back to position 0.
- Important: Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism. If you need to set the date during this period, first set the time outside this range, adjust the date, then reset the time.
Operating Instructions
1. Using the Chronograph (Stopwatch)
- To start the chronograph: Press pusher (B). The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
- To stop the chronograph: Press pusher (B) again. The elapsed time will be displayed on the chronograph subdials.
- To reset the chronograph: After stopping, press pusher (C). All chronograph hands will return to their zero positions.
2. Moon Phase Display
The watch features a 24-hour subdial that also indicates the moon phase. This subdial operates in conjunction with the main time setting. Ensure the main time is set correctly (AM/PM) for an accurate moon phase display.
3. Luminous Function
The hands and hour markers are coated with luminous material. Exposure to light (natural or artificial) will charge this material, allowing the time to be read in low-light conditions. The duration and intensity of luminescence depend on the exposure time and light source.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For the silicone band, a mild soap solution and water can be used, followed by thorough drying.
- Water Resistance: This watch is water-resistant to 30 meters (3ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, splashes, and brief immersion in water. Do not wear the watch while showering, bathing, or swimming in hot water, as steam and hot water can compromise the seals. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet.
- Battery Replacement: The watch uses a quartz movement powered by a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand moves erratically, the battery may need replacement. This should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and function.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (above 60°C / 140°F or below 0°C / 32°F) or sudden temperature changes, as this can affect accuracy and water resistance.
- Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, which can affect the quartz movement's accuracy.
