2. Setup
Initial Setup
- Charge the Camera: Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable.
- Download the App: Search for the 'CloudEdge' app on your smartphone's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store). Install and create an account.
- Pair the Camera: Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network (5G WiFi is not supported). The app will guide you through scanning a QR code on the camera to establish the connection.
Physical Installation
- Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location with good WiFi signal and ample sunlight for the solar panel. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.
- Mount the Bracket: Use the provided screw pack to securely mount the camera bracket to a wall or suitable surface.
- Attach the Camera: Slide the camera onto the mounted bracket and secure it.
