1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions before playing. This game contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 3 years of age due to choking hazards. Adult supervision is recommended during play, especially for younger children.

2. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present in your game box:

• 45 Character Cards
• 10 Power Cards
• 1 Collectible 3D Figure (e.g., Hulk)

3. Setup

1. Players: The game is designed for 2 to 4 players.
2. Age: Suitable for ages 6 and up.
3. Shuffle the Cards: Thoroughly shuffle all 55 cards (Character and Power cards combined).
4. Deal Cards: Deal 7 cards face down to each player.
5. Draw Pile: Place the remaining shuffled cards face down in the center of the playing area to form the Draw Pile.
6. Discard Pile: Turn the top card of the Draw Pile face up and place it next to the Draw Pile to start the Discard Pile. If the first card is a Power Card, return it to the Draw Pile, shuffle, and draw a new one.
7. Collectible Figure: Place the 3D collectible figure aside; it is not used during gameplay but is part of the game set.

4. Operating (How to Play)

The objective of the Novelty Corp Avengers Discard Card Game is to be the first player to form three sets of three cards, known as 'tercias'.

Gameplay

1. The player to the left of the dealer goes first. Play proceeds clockwise.
2. On your turn, you must either:
   • Match: Play a card from your hand that matches the color or number/character of the top card on the Discard Pile.
   • Draw: If you cannot or choose not to play a card, you must draw one card from the Draw Pile. If you can play the drawn card, you may do so immediately. Otherwise, your turn ends.
3. Power Cards: These cards have special effects (e.g., Skip, Reverse, Draw Two, Wild Card). Follow the instructions on the Power Card when played.
4. Wild Card Rule: If the color of the card you play matches the color of the top card on the Discard Pile, you may take a 'comodín' (wildcard) from a designated area (if applicable, or this refers to a specific Power Card).
5. Forming Tercias: As you play and draw cards, aim to collect three cards of the same number/character or three cards of the same color. Once you have a 'tercia', you may lay it down in front of you on your turn.

Winning the Game

The first player to successfully lay down three 'tercias' wins the game.

• Storage: Store all cards and the 3D figure in the original game box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Cleaning Cards: If cards become dirty, gently wipe them with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners, as this can damage the card material (cardboard).
• Cleaning Figure: The plastic 3D figure can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth if necessary. Ensure it is completely dry before storing.
• Handling: Handle cards with clean, dry hands to prevent stains and wear. Avoid bending or creasing the cards.
