2.2 Baby Unit (Camera)

The baby unit is a compact dome-shaped camera equipped with remote pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities. It features automatic infrared night vision for clear monitoring in dark conditions and a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio communication. The camera is designed for wall mounting or tabletop placement.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Setup

1. Charge Parent Unit: Before first use, fully charge the parent unit for approximately 8 hours.
2. Connect Baby Unit: Plug the baby unit (camera) into a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
3. Power On: Press and hold the power button on the parent unit to turn it on. The monitor should automatically connect to the camera.
4. Position Camera: Place the baby unit in a location that provides a clear view of your child. Ensure it is out of reach of children.

3.2 Wall Mounting (Optional)

The baby unit can be wall-mounted for optimal viewing angles. Use the provided mounting kit and follow the instructions below:

1. Choose a suitable location on the wall, ensuring it's at a safe distance from the crib and out of reach of children.
2. Mark the screw positions using the mounting template (if provided).
3. Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
4. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.
5. Attach the baby unit to the mounting bracket.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Remote Pan, Tilt, and Zoom

Use the directional arrows on the parent unit to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. Press the zoom button to zoom in (2x magnification) or out for a closer look at your child.

4.2 Two-Way Talk

Press and hold the microphone button on the parent unit to speak to your child through the baby unit's speaker. Release the button to hear your child's sounds.

4.3 VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange)

In VOX mode, the parent unit screen will automatically turn on when the baby unit detects sounds above a set sensitivity level. This feature conserves battery life by keeping the screen off when the environment is quiet.

4.4 Auto-Night Vision

The baby unit automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing a clear black-and-white image of your child without disturbing their sleep.

4.5 Lullabies and Temperature Monitoring

Access the menu to select from various lullabies to soothe your child. The built-in temperature sensor on the baby unit sends alerts to the parent unit if the room temperature goes outside your set comfort range.
