Setup
1. Battery Charging and Installation
The IDEA13 drone comes with two modular Lithium-polymer batteries.
- Connect the charging cable to the battery and a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
- The charging indicator will show the charging status. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use.
- To install, slide the charged modular battery into the designated compartment on the drone until it clicks securely into place.

2. Remote Control Setup
Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control. Ensure correct polarity.
3. Pairing the Drone and Remote
- Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the drone's power switch. The drone's LED lights will flash.
- Turn on the remote control.
- Push the left joystick up and then pull it down. The drone's LED lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
Operating Instructions
Basic Flight Controls
- One-Key Take-off/Landing: Press the one-key take-off/landing button on the remote control to automatically launch or land the drone.
- Altitude Hold: The drone maintains its current altitude, simplifying flight control.

Special Flight Modes
- Headless Mode: In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, eliminating the need to adjust the drone's direction. Press the Headless Mode button to activate/deactivate.
- 3 Speed Modes: The drone offers 3 adjustable speed settings (Low, Medium, High) to suit different skill levels and environments. Press the speed button to cycle through modes.
- 360° Flip: To perform a 360° flip, fly the drone to a sufficient height, then press the flip button and move the right joystick in the desired flip direction.
- One-Key Return: Press the one-key return button, and the drone will attempt to fly back towards the take-off point. Note that this feature is an assistance tool and not a precise GPS return.
