5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
- Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port on the battery.
- Connect the other end of the charging cable to a 5V/2A charging adapter (not included).
- The LCD display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes 1.5-2 hours.

5.2 Attaching Cartridge Needles
- Ensure the machine is powered off.
- Insert the desired cartridge needle into the machine's grip. The machine is compatible with most cartridge needle types.

5.3 Adjusting Stroke Length
The MARS-U offers 6 adjustable stroke lengths: 2.2mm, 2.6mm, 3.0mm, 3.4mm, 3.8mm, and 4.2mm. To adjust the stroke length, simply turn the adjustment knob located on the machine body. This allows for versatility across various tattooing techniques, including soft black and grey, color packing, blending, and lining.

5.4 Wired Operation (RCA Adapter)
For continuous operation or when the battery is depleted, the MARS-U can be used with the included RCA adapter. Simply detach the battery unit and attach the RCA adapter to the machine body. Connect your standard RCA cable and power supply (not included) to the adapter.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power ON/OFF
- To power ON, long press the 'O' (Power) button for 3 seconds.
- To power OFF, long press the 'O' (Power) button for 3 seconds.
6.2 Adjusting Voltage
- The working voltage range is 5-12V.
- Short press the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the voltage in increments of 0.1V.
- Long press the '+' or '-' buttons for faster adjustment in increments of 0.5V.
- The current voltage is displayed on the LCD screen.

6.3 Output Pause/Resume
- To pause the output, short press the 'O' (Power) button.
- To resume output, short press the 'O' (Power) button again. The machine will resume at the previously set voltage.

The needle depth can be precisely adjusted by rotating the grip of the machine. The built-in stainless steel high-grade positioning steel ball ensures accurate gear position adjustments.
