4. Maintenance and Care
4.1. Cleaning Your Smartwatch
Regularly clean your watch and strap to prevent skin irritation and maintain device performance. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.2. Water Resistance
The HUAWEI WATCH GT Cyber has a 5ATM water resistance rating, meaning it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters. This makes it suitable for shallow-water activities like swimming in pools or oceans. However, it is not suitable for scuba diving, hot showers, saunas, or activities involving high-pressure water jets or deep water. After use in saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly. Water resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time with daily wear and tear.
4.3. Battery Life Optimization
To maximize battery life (up to 7 days typical usage, 4 days heavy usage), consider adjusting settings such as screen brightness, disabling unnecessary notifications, and limiting continuous heart rate monitoring if not required.

5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Connectivity Issues
- Watch not connecting to phone: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. Restart both the watch and the phone. Check if the HUAWEI Health app is running in the background.
- Notifications not appearing: Verify notification permissions for the HUAWEI Health app on your phone. Ensure the watch is properly paired and within Bluetooth range.
5.2. Battery Draining Quickly
- Reduce screen brightness and screen-on time.
- Disable continuous heart rate monitoring or other health features if not needed 24/7.
- Limit the number of apps running in the background on the watch.
- Ensure the watch firmware is up to date.
5.3. Inaccurate Data Readings
- Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, not too loose or too tight.
- Clean the sensors on the back of the watch regularly.
- For GPS accuracy, ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky.
