1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Acctim Harley Superbrite® Modern Digital Alarm Clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper functionality and longevity.

The Harley alarm clock features a large digit LCD display with Acctim's Superbrite white backlight, a multi-function display including alarm, calendar, and indoor temperature, and a snooze function.

3. Package Contents

Upon unpacking, please ensure all items are present and in good condition:

• 1 x Acctim Harley Superbrite® Modern Digital Alarm Clock (Model: Otto)

Note: 2 AA batteries are required for operation and are not included in the package.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
2. Slide the cover downwards or lift it to open the compartment.
3. Insert 2 new AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Initial Power On

Once batteries are correctly installed, the clock display will activate. It may show a default time or a flashing display, indicating it is ready for time and date setting.

5. Operating Instructions

The clock features several control buttons on the back: SET, ALARM, WAVE, DOWN, and UP. The SNOOZE/LIGHT button is located on the top.

5.1 Setting Time and Date

1. Press and hold the SET button for approximately 3 seconds until the display starts flashing. This indicates you are in time/date setting mode.
2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour).
3. Press the SET button again to confirm the current setting and move to the next adjustable item (e.g., minute, year, month, day, 12/24 hour format, temperature unit).
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired settings are configured.
5. After setting the last item, press SET one more time to exit the setting mode. The display will stop flashing.

5.2 Setting the Alarm

1. Press and hold the ALARM button for approximately 3 seconds until the alarm time display starts flashing.
2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the ALARM button again to confirm the hour and move to the alarm minute setting.
4. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm minute.
5. Press the ALARM button one more time to exit alarm setting mode.

5.3 Activating/Deactivating the Alarm

Briefly press the ALARM button (do not hold) to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm icon (e.g., a bell symbol) will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

5.4 Snooze Function and Backlight

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock. This will temporarily silence the alarm for a few minutes (typically 5-9 minutes, depending on the model) and activate the backlight. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button on the back of the clock.

To activate the Superbrite backlight at any time, briefly press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The backlight will illuminate for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.

5.5 Temperature Display

The clock displays the indoor temperature. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), enter the time/date setting mode (Section 5.1) and cycle through the settings until the temperature unit flashes. Use the UP or DOWN button to select your preferred unit.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.

6.2 Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 4.1. Always replace both AA batteries at the same time with new ones.

• Display is blank or dim: Ensure batteries are correctly installed with proper polarity. Replace with fresh AA batteries if necessary.
• Alarm does not sound: Check if the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible on display). Ensure the alarm time is set correctly.
• Incorrect time/date: Re-enter the time and date setting mode (Section 5.1) and adjust the values.
• Backlight not working: Ensure batteries have sufficient power. If the issue persists after battery replacement, contact customer support.
