4. Setup and Installation

The BINNUNE Gaming Headset is designed for plug-and-play functionality across various platforms.

4.1 Connecting to Consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch)

1. Locate the 3.5mm audio jack on your console's controller (e.g., DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller) or the console itself (Nintendo Switch).
2. Insert the 3.5mm plug of the headset into the audio jack until it clicks into place.
3. Adjust audio settings on your console as needed to ensure proper microphone input and audio output.

4.2 Connecting to PC/Laptop

If your PC/laptop has separate audio and microphone jacks (typically green for audio, pink for mic), use the included adapter cable:

1. Connect the headset's 3.5mm plug to the female end of the adapter cable.
2. Plug the green male end of the adapter into your PC's audio output jack.
3. Plug the pink male end of the adapter into your PC's microphone input jack.
4. If your PC/laptop has a single combined 3.5mm jack, simply plug the headset directly into it.
5. Adjust sound settings in your operating system to select the headset as the default playback and recording device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Volume Control

The headset features an in-line volume wheel on the cable. Rotate the wheel up to increase volume and down to decrease volume.

5.2 Microphone Mute

To mute the microphone, slide the mute switch located on the in-line control module. Slide it back to unmute.

5.3 Microphone Positioning

The flexible microphone boom can be adjusted to optimize voice pickup. Position the microphone approximately 1-2 inches from your mouth for the best clarity. While not detachable, the microphone can be moved out of the way when not in use.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable to prevent damage.

7.1 No Audio or Low Volume

• Ensure the 3.5mm plug is fully inserted into the device's audio jack.
• Check the in-line volume wheel on the headset and adjust it to an audible level.
• Verify the volume settings on your connected device (console, PC, smartphone).
• If using a PC, ensure the correct playback device is selected in your sound settings.

7.2 Microphone Not Working

• Check the in-line mute switch and ensure the microphone is not muted.
• Ensure the 3.5mm plug is fully inserted into the device's audio jack.
• If using a PC, ensure the correct recording device is selected in your sound settings and microphone privacy settings allow access.
• For consoles, check in-game or system-level microphone settings.
