Connecting the Shifter:

Select the appropriate cable based on your steering wheel and platform:

  • For PXN V9/V10 Steering Wheels: Use the DIN-RJ11 cable. Connect the DIN end to the shifter and the RJ11 (crystal head) end to the designated port on your PXN steering wheel.
  • For ThrustMaster Steering Wheels (PS3/PS4/PS5/Xbox): Use the DIN-DIN cable. Connect the DIN end to the shifter and the other DIN end to the back of your ThrustMaster steering wheel.
  • For PC (with most steering wheels): Use the DIN-USB cable. Connect the DIN end to the shifter and the USB end directly to a USB port on your computer. Do not connect the USB cable to the steering wheel.

Operating Instructions

Gear Shifting (6+1 Pattern):

The PXN A7 features a 6+1 gear shifter design. The "H" pattern allows for smooth and accurate gear changes.

  • Forward Gears (1-6): Engage gears by moving the lever into the corresponding "H" pattern slot.
  • Reverse Gear (R): To engage reverse, return the gear lever to the neutral (middle) position, press down on the lever, and then move it into the 6th gear slot. This action activates the reverse gear.

Multi-function Buttons:

The shifter unit includes two function buttons for enhanced control during gameplay.

  • Handbrake Button: Press this button to activate an immediate brake function in compatible games. This can be used for quick stops or in situations where pedal braking is not feasible.
  • High/Low Gear Button: This button allows for switching between high and low gear ranges, particularly useful in truck driving simulators or games that support such functionality.

  1. To adjust, gently twist the upper part of the gear lever.
  2. Raise or lower it to the desired height.
  3. Twist to secure it in place.
  4. To disassemble, continue twisting counter-clockwise until the lever detaches.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PXN A7 Gear Shifter, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the shifter's surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the shifter in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Cable Care: Handle connection cables carefully. Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling that could damage the connectors or wiring.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the mounting clamp for tightness and ensure all connections are secure.
