4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Mounting
The Defender-CCW is designed for versatile mounting options:
- Direct Mount: Compatible with all Shield RMS and Shield RMSc footprints without requiring modifications.
- Picatinny/Weaver Rail: Use the included Picatinny rail mount for attachment to compatible rails. Ensure the mount is securely fastened using the provided screws and custom tool.
4.2. Battery Installation
The Defender-CCW uses a CR1632 battery. To install or replace the battery:

- Insert a fresh CR1632 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

5. Operation
5.1. Power On/Off
The Defender-CCW features motion activation. When motion is detected, the red dot will automatically power on. If no motion is detected for 14 hours, the sight will automatically shut off to conserve battery life.
5.2. Brightness Adjustment
Adjust the brightness of the 6 MOA red dot using the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons (refer to the product diagram in Section 3). Press the 'Up' button to increase brightness and the 'Down' button to decrease it.
