3. Setup and Assembly

3.1. Unboxing and Parts Identification

Carefully unbox all components and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Verify that all parts listed in the instruction manual are present and undamaged. The package includes the desktop panels, desk legs, crossbar, motor, control panel, power adapter, storage bag, headphone hook, and various screws and accessories.

3.2. Assembling the Frame

1. Align the holes in the crossbar with the holes in the desk legs. Insert four bolts (D1) and fully tighten each pair of bolts, ensuring the legs fit smoothly into the crossbar grooves.
2. Attach the feet to the bottom of each desk leg using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened for stability.
3. Slide the rod coupler onto the end of the motor drive shaft on the right leg. Ensure the holes for the set screws face outwards.
4. Ensure the transmission rod is properly inserted into the hole in the left leg. Slide the rod coupler to the left to connect with the other end of the transmission rod.

3.3. Assembling the Desktop

1. For the 55-inch long desk, use the six wood dowel pins to join the two desktop panels together.
2. Secure the joined desktop panels using the metal brackets and screws provided.

3.4. Attaching the Frame to the Desktop

1. Carefully flip the assembled frame over and align it with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the desktop.
2. Secure the frame to the desktop using the appropriate screws. You may use a drill with suitable torque and speed, or a Phillips screwdriver.

3.5. Connecting the Cables

1. Put the AC adapter into its holder and attach it to the desktop.
2. Connect the motor cable to the control panel.
3. Connect the power cable from the adapter to a power outlet.
4. Use the provided cable ties to manage and secure the cables neatly under the desk.

3.6. Attaching Accessories

1. Thread the bolts through the holes in the side pocket and the side plate. Screw the nuts onto the ends of the bolts from the inside of the side plate to attach the storage bag.
2. Attach the headphone hook to the designated slot on the side of the desk.

4. Operating Instructions

The Marsail Electric Standing Desk features an intuitive control panel for easy height adjustment.

4.1. Adjusting Height Manually

• Use the Up (▲) arrow button to raise the desk.
• Use the Down (▼) arrow button to lower the desk.
• The digital display will show the current height in inches.

4.2. Using Memory Presets

The control panel has four memory preset buttons (1, 2, 3, 4) to store and recall your preferred sitting and standing heights.

1. To Set a Preset: Adjust the desk to your desired height using the Up/Down arrows. Press and hold one of the numbered preset buttons (1, 2, 3, or 4) until the display shows 'S-' followed by the number, indicating the height has been saved.
2. To Recall a Preset: Simply press the corresponding numbered preset button (1, 2, 3, or 4). The desk will automatically move to the saved height.
