2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The GooDay Smart Digital Alarm Clock requires one CR2032 battery (included). To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side faces upwards.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Operating Instructions
The clock features several buttons on the back for setting and adjusting functions:
- MODE Button: Used to cycle through display modes (Time, Date, Alarm) and enter setting modes.
- UP Button: Used to adjust values upwards during setting, and to display the date temporarily.
- MAX/MIN Button: Used to view maximum and minimum temperature/humidity records.
- °C/°F Button: Used to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
3.1 Setting Time and Date
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until the time display is active.
- Press and hold the MODE button until the digits begin flashing.
- Use the UP button to adjust the flashing digit (e.g., hours, then minutes).
- Press MODE again to move to the next setting (e.g., year, month, day).
- Repeat step 3 and 4 until all time and date settings are complete.
- Press MODE one last time to exit the setting mode.
- Tip for setting seconds to zero: While minutes are flashing, adjust the minutes using the UP button. The seconds will reset to zero the last time the minutes are increased. Synchronize this with an accurate time source.
3.2 Setting the Alarm
- Press the MODE button until the alarm time is displayed (often indicated by an alarm icon).
- Press and hold the MODE button until the alarm hour digits begin flashing.
- Use the UP button to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press MODE to move to the alarm minute setting.
- Use the UP button to set the desired alarm minute.
- Press MODE to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the UP button while the alarm time is displayed. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the screen.
3.3 Temperature and Humidity Display
The clock continuously displays indoor temperature and humidity. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F):
- Press the °C/°F button located on the back of the device.
To view maximum and minimum recorded temperature and humidity:
- Press the MAX/MIN button. Each press will cycle through current, maximum, and minimum readings.
