2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. This includes:

4.1 Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove the diffuser from its packaging.
2. Place the unit on a firm, level, and water-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

4.2 Filling the Water Tank and Adding Essential Oils

1. Gently twist and lift the upper part of the diffuser to access the water tank.
2. Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water up to the maximum fill line (50ml capacity). Do not overfill.
3. Add 2-3 drops of your preferred 100% pure essential oil directly into the water tank. For insect repellent purposes, recommended oils include lemongrass, citronella, eucalyptus, peppermint, or geranium.
4. Carefully replace the upper part, ensuring it is securely seated.

4.3 Charging the Battery

The Sophie little diffuser is equipped with a rechargeable battery for mobile use. Before first use, fully charge the battery.

1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the port on the diffuser.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (e.g., 5V/2A phone charger) or a computer USB port.

3. Wipe the inside of the water tank with a soft, damp cloth.

6.2 Weekly Cleaning / Descaling

Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, mineral deposits may accumulate. To remove them:

1. Unplug the unit and empty the water tank.
2. Pour a small amount of white vinegar (approx. 1 tablespoon) into the water tank and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
3. Gently scrub the inside of the tank and the ultrasonic disc with a soft brush or cotton swab.
4. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water to remove all vinegar residue.
