1. Product Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The timer requires two AAA batteries for operation. These are included in the package.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
2. Open the foldable stand to access the battery cover.
3. Push down on the battery cover and slide it off.
4. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
5. Replace the battery cover and close the foldable stand.

Note: If the display shows "88:88:88", it indicates that the batteries need to be replaced.

4.2 Placement Options

The LIORQUE Kitchen Timer offers flexible placement options:

• Magnetic Attachment: Use the strong magnet on the back to fix the timer to metallic surfaces like refrigerators or ovens.
• Foldable Stand: Extend the integrated stand to place the timer upright on any flat surface, such as a countertop or desk.
• Hanging Hole: Utilize the small hole on the back to hang the timer on a hook or string.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Switching Modes (Timer, Clock, Alarm)

The LIORQUE Kitchen Timer has three main modes: Timer, Clock, and Alarm. To switch between these modes:

• Timer Mode: This is the default mode for countdown and count-up functions.
• Clock Mode: Displays the current time. To switch from Timer mode to Clock mode, long press the ST/SP button for 2 seconds.
• Alarm Mode: Allows setting an alarm time. While in Clock mode, short press the ST/SP button to switch to Alarm mode.
• To return to Timer mode from Clock or Alarm mode, long press the ST/SP button again.

5.2 Setting the Timer (Countdown)

To set a countdown time:

1. Ensure the timer is in Timer mode. If not, long press ST/SP to switch.
2. Press the H button to set hours, M for minutes, and S for seconds. Long press any button to increase the value rapidly.
3. To clear the set time to 00:00:00, press the H and M buttons simultaneously.
4. Press the ST/SP button to start the countdown.
5. To pause the countdown, press ST/SP again. Press it once more to resume.
6. When the countdown reaches 00:00:00, the alarm will sound (if not in silent mode).
7. To stop the alarm and restore the previously set countdown time, press ST/SP. This allows for quick reuse of the same timer setting.

5.3 Using the Stopwatch (Count-up)

To use the timer as a stopwatch:

1. Ensure the timer is in Timer mode and the display shows 00:00:00. If not, press H and M simultaneously to clear.
2. Press the ST/SP button to start the count-up.
3. To pause the stopwatch, press ST/SP again. Press it once more to resume.
4. To reset the stopwatch to 00:00:00, press H and M simultaneously while the stopwatch is paused or running.

5.4 Adjusting Volume

The timer features a physical switch on the right side to adjust the alarm volume:

• Silent Mode: Ideal for quiet environments like libraries or study rooms, ensuring no disturbance.
• Medium Volume (65dB): Suitable for general use, providing an audible alert without being overly loud.
• High Volume (85dB): Designed for noisy environments such as busy kitchens, ensuring the alarm is clearly heard.

5.5 Setting the Clock and Alarm

To set the current time and an alarm:

1. Setting Clock Time:
   • Long press ST/SP to enter Clock mode.
   • Press H to set hours, M for minutes, and S for seconds.
   • The clock supports 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
2. Setting Alarm Time:
   • While in Clock mode, short press ST/SP to enter Alarm mode.
   • Press H to set alarm hours, M for alarm minutes.
   • To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the S button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your LIORQUE Kitchen Timer:

• Clean the timer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Avoid exposing the timer to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• If the timer will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
