5. Setup Instructions

5.1 First Opening / Emergency Opening

  1. Locate the emergency keyhole cover on the digital keypad.
  2. Gently remove the cover.
  3. Insert one of the provided emergency keys into the keyhole.
  4. Turn the key clockwise while simultaneously turning the handle to open the safe door.

5.2 Battery Installation

The safe requires 4 'AA' batteries (not included) for the digital keypad to function.

  1. Open the safe door using the emergency key.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
  3. Insert 4 'AA' batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover.

5.3 Setting Your First Access Code

After installing batteries, set your personal access code:

  1. With the safe door open, press the green setting button located on the inside of the door for one second. The keypad will illuminate.
  2. Enter your desired new code (1-8 digits).
  3. Press the '#' button.
  4. Repeat your new code.
  5. Press the '#' button again to confirm. A confirmation sound indicates successful programming.

5.4 Setting a Second Access Code

You can set an additional access code:

  1. With the safe door open, press '#00' on the keypad.
  2. Then, press the green setting button located on the inside of the door for one second. The keypad will illuminate.
  3. Enter your desired new code (1-8 digits).
  4. Press the '#' button.
  5. Repeat your new code.
  6. Press the '#' button again to confirm. A confirmation sound indicates successful programming.

5.5 Mounting the Safe

The safe features 5 pre-drilled holes (3 on the back, 2 on the bottom) for secure mounting.

  1. Choose a suitable location for the safe, ensuring it is level and stable.
  2. Mark the drilling points on the wall or floor through the pre-drilled holes.
  3. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
  4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the expansion screws.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Opening the Safe with Your Code

  1. Enter your programmed access code on the digital keypad.
  2. Press the '#' button.
  3. Turn the handle to open the safe door.

6.2 Mute Function

The safe features a mute function for silent operation.

  • To Turn On Mute: Press '*' then press '1'. A confirmation sound indicates the mute function is active.
  • To Turn Off Mute: Press '*' then press '1'. A confirmation sound indicates the mute function is deactivated.

6.3 Dual Alarm System

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system for enhanced security.

  • Incorrect Code Alarm: If an incorrect code is entered 3 consecutive times, the safe will sound an alarm for 60 seconds.
  • Vibration Alarm: If the safe is violently shaken or hit, a vibration alarm will activate for 60 seconds.
  • To Activate Vibration Alarm: Press '*' then press '9'.
  • To Stop Alarm: Enter the correct access code.

6.4 Emergency Battery Box Usage

If the internal batteries are depleted and you cannot open the safe with your code:

  1. Insert 4 'AA' batteries into the emergency battery box.
  2. Plug the emergency battery box cable into the port located under the keypad.
  3. Enter your correct access code on the keypad.
  4. Press the '#' button.
  5. Turn the handle to open the safe door.
