1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SYLVOX Smart RV TV. This 24-inch 1080P Full HD television is engineered for versatility and convenience, perfect for your RV, camper, or even home use. It integrates a built-in DVD player, runs on the Android TV platform for access to a wide range of applications, and offers robust connectivity options including WiFi and Bluetooth. Designed for both 12-volt DC and standard AC power, this frameless TV provides a superior viewing experience wherever you go.

3. Setup

3.1. Attaching the TV Base

Carefully place the TV screen-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Align the TV base with the mounting holes on the bottom of the TV. Secure the base using the provided screws. Ensure the base is firmly attached for stability.

3.2. Powering the TV

The SYLVOX Smart RV TV supports flexible power options:

• AC Power: Connect the provided AC adapter to the TV's power input, then plug the adapter into a standard 100-240V AC outlet.
• DC Power (12V): For RV or camper use, connect the included car charger cable to the TV's power input and to your vehicle's 12V DC power source. The TV supports a wide DC voltage range of 9-32V for stable operation.

3.3. Connecting External Devices

The TV offers various ports for connectivity:

• HDMI: Connect Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, or other HDMI-enabled devices to the 2 HDMI ports.
• USB: Use the 2 USB ports for media playback from USB drives or to connect a USB keyboard/mouse.
• Antenna/Cable: Connect your antenna or cable TV source to the RF input for over-the-air or cable channels.
• Ethernet: For a stable wired internet connection, use the RJ45 Ethernet port.
• Optical Audio Out: Connect to external sound systems or soundbars for enhanced audio.
• 3.5mm Headphone Jack: For private listening.

3.4. Initial Android TV Setup

Upon first power-on, the TV will guide you through the Android TV setup process. This includes connecting to your WiFi network, signing into your Google account, and installing essential apps. The Bluetooth remote control simplifies navigation during this process.

4. Operating the TV

4.1. Smart TV Features

4.2. Built-in DVD Player

Enjoy your favorite movies and music with the integrated DVD player. Simply insert a DVD disc into the slot on the side of the TV. The TV will automatically switch to DVD mode or you can select it from the input source menu.

4.3. Picture and Sound Quality

The 1080P Full HD display (1920 x 1080 resolution) offers crisp and clear visuals with a 178° ultra-wide viewing angle and 3000:1 contrast ratio. The TV features built-in 2x15W HiFi speakers for immersive 3D surround sound. You can also connect external speakers or headsets via Bluetooth for a personalized audio experience.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SYLVOX Smart RV TV, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics. Gently wipe the screen to remove dust and smudges. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Cleaning the Body: Wipe the TV's body with a soft, dry cloth.
• Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the TV are not blocked to prevent overheating.
• Storage: If storing the TV for an extended period, disconnect it from power, clean it thoroughly, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SYLVOX Smart RV TV, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• No Power:
  • Ensure the power cord and adapter are securely connected to the TV and the power outlet.
  • If using DC power, check the vehicle's 12V outlet and ensure it's providing power.
  • Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
• No Picture/Sound:
  • Check the input source. Press the 'Source' button on the remote to cycle through HDMI, DVD, TV, etc.
  • Ensure all cables (HDMI, antenna) are securely connected.
  • For no sound, check the volume level and ensure the TV is not muted.
• Poor Sound Quality (Tinny/Distorted):
  • Access the TV's sound settings (usually under 'Display & Sound' or 'Device Preferences' in Android TV settings).
  • Experiment with different sound modes (e.g., Standard, News, Music) or adjust equalizer settings if available.
  • If connecting to external speakers, ensure they are properly connected and configured.
• DVD Disc Read Error:
  • Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches or smudges. Wipe gently with a soft cloth from the center outwards.
  • Try a different DVD disc to determine if the issue is with the disc or the player.
  • Ensure the disc is inserted correctly into the slot.
• WiFi Connectivity Issues:
  • Go to 'Network & Internet' in the TV settings and ensure WiFi is enabled.
  • Check if your WiFi network is visible and enter the correct password.
  • Restart your WiFi router and the TV.
