Maintenance

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage

Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If the remote will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage.

Troubleshooting

Remote Not Responding

  • Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity and are not depleted. Replace with fresh AAA batteries if necessary.
  • Obstructions: Ensure there are no objects blocking the path between the remote and the TV's infrared receiver (if using IR functions). For Bluetooth, ensure the remote is within range (up to 10 meters).
  • TV Power: Confirm the TV is powered on and not in standby mode.

Voice Control Issues

  • Pairing: Verify that the remote control is properly paired with your Hisense TV for voice functionality. If not, follow the pairing instructions in the Setup section or your TV's manual.
  • Microphone: Ensure nothing is obstructing the remote's microphone.
  • Internet Connection: Voice commands often require an active internet connection on your TV. Check your TV's network settings.
