5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Forward/Reverse Rotation and Lock
The forward/reverse switch is located above the trigger. Push it to the left for forward rotation (drilling/driving screws) and to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws). Center the switch to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
5.2 Variable Speed Trigger
The drill's speed is controlled by the pressure applied to the trigger. Press lightly for slower speeds and increase pressure for higher speeds. This allows for precise control during operation.
5.3 Torque Adjustment (Clutch Settings)
The 18+1 position clutch ring, located behind the chuck, allows you to set the torque. Rotate the ring to select the desired torque setting (1-18) for driving screws, or the drill icon for drilling applications. Higher numbers provide more torque. The '+1' setting is for maximum torque, typically used for drilling.
5.4 Two-Speed Transmission
A speed selector switch on top of the drill allows you to choose between two gear settings:
- Gear 1 (Low Speed, 0-350 RPM): Ideal for high-torque applications like driving large screws or drilling into tough materials.
- Gear 2 (High Speed, 0-1350 RPM): Suitable for fast drilling in wood, plastic, or light metal.
