1. 4.1 Mounting the Camera

2. 4.2 Power and Network Connection

   Connect the camera to your network using an Ethernet cable. The BC500 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows both power and data to be transmitted over a single cable. Ensure your network switch or injector provides PoE. Use the RJ45 cap cover for outdoor installations to protect the connection from environmental elements.

   Once connected to the network, the camera can be discovered and configured through Synology Surveillance Station on your Synology NAS. Follow the on-screen instructions within Surveillance Station for quick and easy setup, including batch configuration and firmware updates.

1. 5.1 Live View and Recording
