  • Ensure the power supply is 240V AC, as specified for this model.
  • Do not expose the thermostat to water or excessive humidity.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.
  • Keep packaging materials away from children.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Package Contents

Verify that your package contains the following items:

  • AVATTO WT100 Smart Thermostat Unit
  • Mounting Screws (if applicable)
  • User Manual (this document)

3.2 Wiring Diagram

Important: Before proceeding, turn off the main power supply to your heating system at the circuit breaker.

The WT100 thermostat is designed for boiler heating systems. Connect the thermostat according to the following general wiring scheme. Refer to your boiler's manual for specific terminal designations.

  • L (Live): Connect to the live wire from your 240V AC power supply.
  • N (Neutral): Connect to the neutral wire from your 240V AC power supply.
  • Load (Output to Boiler): Connect to the control input of your boiler. This is typically a switched live connection that signals the boiler to turn on.

Note: A detailed wiring diagram is usually printed on the back of the thermostat or provided in a separate installation guide. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.

3.3 Mounting the Thermostat

  1. Carefully detach the front panel of the thermostat from its backplate.
  2. Position the backplate on the wall at an appropriate height (typically 1.2-1.5 meters from the floor), avoiding direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources.
  3. Mark the drilling points through the screw holes on the backplate.
  4. Drill holes and insert wall plugs if necessary.
  5. Secure the backplate to the wall using the provided screws.
  6. Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals on the backplate as per the wiring diagram.
  7. Carefully reattach the front panel of the thermostat to the secured backplate.

3.4 Initial Power-Up and WiFi Connection

  1. Once the thermostat is securely mounted and wired, restore power at the main circuit breaker.
  2. The thermostat display should illuminate.
  3. Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  4. Register or log in to your account.
  5. In the app, tap "+" to add a new device.
  6. Follow the in-app instructions to put the thermostat into pairing mode (usually by pressing and holding a specific button on the thermostat until a WiFi icon flashes rapidly).
  7. Select your 2.4GHz WiFi network and enter the password.
  8. Once connected, the WiFi icon on the thermostat display will become solid.

5. Maintenance

The AVATTO WT100 thermostat requires minimal maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the thermostat's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.
  • Avoid Obstructions: Ensure that the thermostat's vents (if any) are not blocked by furniture, curtains, or other objects, as this can affect temperature readings.
  • Battery Replacement: This model is typically hardwired and does not use user-replaceable batteries for primary operation. If a backup battery is present for settings retention, it is usually a long-life coin cell battery that does not require frequent replacement.
