1. Important Safety Instructions

Basic Blending Steps:

1. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the 2L pitcher. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, followed by harder items and ice. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.

3. Select Mode:
   • Preset Programs: Press one of the 5 iQ automatic program buttons (Smoothie, Ice Crush, Sauce, Grind, Hot Soup). The blender will run for a predetermined time and speed.
   • Variable Speed: Turn the Function dial to adjust the speed from 1 to 9. You can also manually adjust the blending time.
   • Pulse Function: For quick bursts of power, press and hold the Pulse button. Release to stop.
4. Start Blending: Press the ON/OFF switch or the selected preset program button to begin.
5. Monitor: Use the tamper stick through the lid opening if ingredients get stuck, pushing them towards the blades.
6. Finish: Once blending is complete, turn the Function dial to OFF or press the ON/OFF switch. Unplug the blender before removing the pitcher.

Special Notes:

• Hot Soup Mode: This mode uses high-speed blade friction to heat cold ingredients, transforming them into hot soup in approximately 6 minutes. Do not add already hot liquids.
• Grinding: The powerful motor and blades are suitable for grinding nuts, seeds, and grains.

Manual Cleaning:

• Pitcher and Lid: Wash with warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge or brush. Rinse thoroughly. Note: The pitcher and lid are NOT dishwasher safe.
• Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
• Blades: Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the blades due to their sharpness.
• Storage: Store the blender in a clean, dry place. The cord can be stored underneath the motor base.
