- Install the Exterior Panel: Feed the cable from the exterior panel through the door hole. Align the exterior panel with the deadbolt latch.
- Install the Interior Mounting Plate: Secure the interior mounting plate to the door using the provided screws, ensuring the cable passes through the plate.
- Connect Cables and Install Interior Panel: Connect the cable from the exterior panel to the interior panel. Carefully tuck the wires into the designated space. Mount the interior panel onto the mounting plate and secure it with screws.
- Install Batteries: Open the battery cover on the interior panel and insert the required batteries (not included).
- Install Door Magnetic Sensor: Attach the door magnetic sensor to the door frame, aligning it with the sensor on the lock body. This is crucial for the auto-lock function.
- Test Operation: Test the lock with the mechanical key and by entering a default or newly set code to ensure it operates smoothly.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Keyless Entry (Master and User Codes)

The lock supports one master code and up to 99 user access codes. The master code is used for programming and unlocking, while user codes are for unlocking only.
- To Unlock: Enter your valid access code on the keypad, then press the unlock button (often represented by a padlock icon or a specific key).
- Setting Codes: Refer to the detailed programming section in the included paper manual for steps on how to set, change, or delete master and user codes.
6.2 Mechanical Key Unlock
In case of battery failure or forgotten codes, you can always use the mechanical key to unlock the deadbolt. Insert the key into the keyhole and turn 90 degrees to unlock.
6.3 Anti-Peep Password

To enhance security and prevent onlookers from guessing your code, you can enter random digits before or after your actual password. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer string.
- Example: If your code is 123456, you can enter 987123456012. As long as 123456 is present consecutively, the lock will open.
6.4 Automatic Locking

With the door magnetic sensor installed, the lock will automatically engage and lock the door after it closes. This ensures your property is always secured.
6.5 Passage Mode

When Passage Mode is enabled, the door lock will remain unlocked, allowing free entry and exit without needing to enter a code. This is useful for high-traffic periods or when you want the door to stay open.
- To Enable/Disable: Refer to your detailed paper manual for specific key sequences to activate or deactivate Passage Mode.
6.6 Silent Mode
The lock can be set to Silent Mode, which mutes all keypad tones and operational sounds. This is ideal for maintaining quiet environments, such as at night or in a nursery.
- To Enable/Disable: Consult your paper manual for the specific key sequence to toggle Silent Mode on or off.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Low Battery Alarm
The lock is equipped with a low battery alarm. When the battery level is critically low, the lock will emit a warning sound or light indicator. Replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

Always use fresh, high-quality batteries of the specified type. Do not mix old and new batteries.
7.2 Cleaning
Wipe the lock's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
8. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the keypad is clean and free of debris.
- Code not working: Double-check the code entered. Ensure you are not in Passage Mode if you expect the lock to engage. Verify the code has not been deleted or changed.
- Auto-lock not functioning: Ensure the door magnetic sensor is correctly installed and aligned on both the door and the frame. Check for any obstructions preventing the door from closing fully.
- Lock is loose: Tighten mounting screws on the interior panel.
- Difficulty turning key: Ensure the key is fully inserted and the lock mechanism is not obstructed. Do not force the key.
