4. Setup Instructions

1. Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment on the integrated battery box. Open the compartment cover and insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
2. Uncoil Lights: Carefully uncoil the light string, ensuring the wire does not tangle or kink.
3. Position Lights: Hang the light string in your desired indoor location. The 14.5 ft (4.4 m) length provides flexibility for various arrangements.
4. Attach Items: Use the 16 iridescent clips to secure photographs, artwork, or other lightweight decorative items along the light string.

5. Operating Instructions

The Ashland Clip Lights feature a simple on/off switch and a built-in timer function located on the battery box.

• Power On/Off: Locate the switch on the battery box. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to illuminate the lights. Slide to 'OFF' to turn them off.
• Timer Function: When the lights are switched 'ON', they will automatically activate the 6-hour on, 18-hour off timer cycle. The lights will remain on for 6 hours, then turn off for 18 hours, and repeat this cycle daily. To reset the timer, switch the lights 'OFF' and then 'ON' again at your desired start time.

• Cleaning: To clean the light string and clips, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse any part of the product in water.
• Battery Replacement: When the lights dim or cease to function, replace all three AA batteries with new ones. Refer to Section 4 for battery installation instructions.
• Storage: When not in use, carefully coil the light string and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Remove batteries before long-term storage.
