1. Safety Information

• Adjust your speed to suit road conditions and your riding ability.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the bike from its packaging. Inspect for any visible damage that may have occurred during shipping. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.

3.2 Assembly

The DEEPOWER S26 Electric Bike comes mostly pre-assembled to minimize setup time. You will primarily need to:

1. Unfold the frame and secure the locking mechanism.
2. Install the front wheel (if not already attached).
3. Attach the handlebars and adjust their position.
4. Install the pedals (note left and right pedal threading).
5. Adjust the seat post height for comfortable riding.
6. Ensure all bolts and quick releases are securely tightened. It is crucial to double-check all bolts on rims and crank arm shafts as they may not be perfectly tightened from the factory.

3.3 Battery Charging

Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will change when fully charged (typically 4-6 hours).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the EN06 digital display. To power off, press and hold the power button again.

4.2 Riding Modes

The DEEPOWER S26 offers three riding modes:

• Pure Electric Mode: Engage the throttle for motor-only propulsion.
• Pedal Assist System (PAS) Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust the assist level using the display controls.
• Pedal Only Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle with no motor assistance.

4.3 Gear Shifting

The bike is equipped with a Shimano 7-speed gear system. Use the shifter on the handlebars to change gears according to terrain and desired speed. Shift smoothly to avoid strain on the drivetrain.

4.4 Display Usage (EN06)

The EN06 digital display provides real-time information:

• Speed Value: Current riding speed.
• Battery Indicator: Shows remaining battery charge.
• ODO Mileage: Total distance traveled.
• PAS Level: Current pedal assist level.

Use the buttons on the display to cycle through information and adjust PAS levels.

4.5 Braking

The bike features front and rear mechanical disc brakes. Squeeze the brake levers on the handlebars to slow down or stop. Apply both brakes simultaneously for optimal stopping power and control.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your electric bike.

5.1 General Cleaning

Clean your bike regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.

5.2 Tire Pressure

Maintain proper tire pressure as indicated on the tire sidewall. Check pressure before each ride. Ensure tires are fully aired up, especially when going over bumps.

5.3 Brake Inspection

Regularly check brake pads for wear and brake cables for proper tension. Ensure the brake rotors are clean and free from obstructions. If the front brake rubs on the rotor, an adjustment may be needed.

5.4 Chain Lubrication

Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.

5.5 Battery Care

• Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to 50-70% every 2-3 months.
• Do not fully discharge the battery regularly.

5.6 Bolt Tightening

Periodically check and tighten all bolts, especially those on the wheels, handlebars, seat post, and crank arms, to ensure all components are secure.
