Model: C100P-S4
Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and storage of your CROWN SHADES 10x10 Commercial Instant Canopy Pop Up Tent. Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use to ensure safe and proper operation.
Safety Information
WARNING: It is critical to never leave your canopy unattended. Even when properly anchored, canopies are susceptible to wind and rain damage. Always take down the canopy when severe weather is approaching. To prevent damage and ensure stability, anchor your canopy using the included stakes and guy ropes, and consider additional weights for enhanced security.
This canopy features a patented central lock technology for easy setup, 300D silver-coated fabric for UPF 50+ UV protection, CPAI-84 rated flame resistance, and water repellency. The frame is constructed from durable alloy steel.

Setup Instructions
The CROWN SHADES canopy is designed for quick and easy setup, ideally with two people.
- Step 1: Open the Frame
Place the folded steel frame in the desired setup location. With a person on each side, gently pull the outer legs apart to begin expanding the frame. Do not force the frame open.
- Step 2: Attach Canopy Top
Unfold the canopy top and place it over the partially opened frame. Secure the corners of the canopy top to the frame's corner posts using the integrated fasteners (e.g., Velcro straps or clips).
- Step 3: Engage Central Lock
Once the canopy top is loosely attached, stand inside the frame. Locate the central hub mechanism. Push upwards on the central hub until it clicks into place, locking all four legs simultaneously. This patented central lock technology simplifies the setup process.

- Step 4: Adjust Height
Extend each leg to the desired height. Use the soft, pinch-free buttons located on each leg to release and lock the leg at one of the three available height settings. Ensure all legs are set to the same height for stability.

- Step 5: Attach Sidewalls (Optional)
If using sidewalls, attach them to the canopy frame using the fast clip system and Velcro straps. The fast clips are designed for easy installation and removal, preventing water pooling in wet conditions.

- Step 6: Secure the Canopy
Anchor the canopy to the ground using the provided spikes and guy ropes. For additional stability, especially in windy conditions, fill the empty sandbags with sand or other heavy material and attach them to the canopy legs. Always use both stakes and guy ropes for optimal security.

Operating Instructions
Your CROWN SHADES canopy provides 100 square feet of shade, comfortably accommodating up to 10 seated people. It is suitable for various outdoor activities such as camping, tailgating, and commercial events.
Adjusting Canopy Height
The canopy offers three height settings. To adjust, press the pinch-free button on each leg and slide the inner leg to the desired height. Ensure all four legs are adjusted to the same height for a level and stable structure.
Using Sidewalls
The included sidewalls can be attached to provide additional shade, privacy, or protection from wind and light rain. They attach securely with clips and Velcro. For optimal cooling, using sidewalls can significantly block sunlight and reduce interior temperature compared to an open canopy.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your CROWN SHADES canopy.
- Cleaning the Fabric: Clean the canopy top and sidewalls with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric's UV protective coating and water-repellent properties. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage.
- Frame Care: Inspect the steel frame periodically for any signs of damage, rust, or loose bolts. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame. If rust appears, clean it and apply a rust-inhibiting paint.
- Drying Before Storage: Always ensure the canopy fabric and frame are completely dry before folding and storing. Storing a damp canopy can lead to mildew growth and fabric degradation.
- Repair Patch: Use the included repair patch for minor tears or punctures in the canopy fabric.
Storage
The patented STO'N Go Bag is designed for convenient transport and storage.
- Disassembly: Reverse the setup steps. Lower the legs, disengage the central lock, and carefully fold the frame. Remove the canopy top and sidewalls.
- Packing the Frame: Once the frame is fully collapsed, place it into the main compartment of the STO'N Go Bag. The bag features integrated wheels for easy mobility.
- Packing Accessories: The STO'N Go Bag includes a specialized pocket for storing the 8 stakes, 4 guy ropes, and 4 removable wall panels. Ensure all accessories are clean and dry before packing.

Store the canopy in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Canopy is unstable or sways in wind. | Insufficient anchoring; strong winds. | Ensure all stakes and guy ropes are properly secured. Use filled sandbags or additional weights on each leg. Disassemble the canopy immediately if winds become too strong. |
| Difficulty engaging the central lock. | Frame not fully extended; obstruction. | Ensure the frame is pulled out as far as possible before pushing the central hub. Check for any fabric or debris obstructing the mechanism. Two people may be needed for initial setup. |
| Water pooling on canopy top. | Improper setup; heavy rain. | Ensure the canopy top is taut and evenly distributed over the frame. Adjust leg heights if necessary to create proper tension. In heavy rain, it is recommended to take down the canopy. |
| Legs difficult to adjust. | Dirt/debris in mechanism; corrosion. | Clean the leg adjustment mechanisms. Apply a silicone-based lubricant if necessary. Ensure the pinch-free button is fully depressed. |
