Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your tripod.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Lubrication: Periodically check leg locks and moving parts for smooth operation. Do not apply oil or grease unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer, as this can attract dust and dirt.
  • Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure all locks are loosened slightly before storage to prevent stress on components.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace the CR2032 battery in the wireless remote control when its performance diminishes.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Aureday TBC001 tripod, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Tripod is unstable:
    • Ensure all leg locks are fully engaged.

    • Do not overload the tripod; check the maximum weight capacity.
    • Spread the legs wider for a larger footprint.
    • Hang a weight from the center column hook for added stability.
  • Device is tilting or drooping:
    • Ensure the tilt lock knob on the pan head is tightened sufficiently.
    • Verify that your device is within the maximum weight limit of 6.6 lbs (3 kg).
    • Ensure the quick release plate is properly attached to your device and the pan head.
  • Wireless remote not connecting:
    • Ensure the remote control is turned ON.
