4. Setup and Installation

General Installation Steps:
- Choose Location: Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is free from electrical wires or plumbing.
- Marking: Hold a bracket against the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the screw hole positions with a pencil. Repeat for the second bracket for the same shelf, ensuring proper spacing for the shelf board.
- Drilling Pilot Holes: Using a power drill, drill pilot holes at the marked positions. The drill bit size will depend on the wall anchors provided and your wall material.
- Insert Wall Anchors: For drywall or concrete, gently tap the plastic wall anchors into the pilot holes with a hammer until flush with the wall surface. For wood studs, anchors may not be necessary, but ensure screws are driven directly into the stud.
- Attach Brackets: Align the metal brackets with the installed anchors/pilot holes. Secure them to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure they are firmly attached and level.
- Place Shelf Board: Position the MDF shelf board onto the attached brackets. The board should rest securely on the brackets.
- Secure Shelf Board: Use the smaller fixed screws to attach the shelf board to the brackets from underneath, if applicable, for added stability.
- Repeat: Follow these steps for the remaining shelves.
