4. Safety Information

  • Do not disassemble or modify the product. Unauthorized modifications may cause damage or injury.
  • Keep the product away from fire and high temperatures.
  • Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the weight of the light fixture.
  • Avoid looking directly into the LED lights when they are on, as this may cause temporary vision impairment.
  • Dispose of the product and its components responsibly according to local regulations.

5. Setup and Installation

The FLITI Solar Outdoor Lights are designed for easy, wireless installation. Follow these steps for optimal performance:

  1. Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily. This is crucial for the solar panel to charge the internal battery effectively. Avoid areas under eaves, trees, or other obstructions that might block sunlight.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the light fixture against the desired wall or mounting surface. Use a pencil to mark the positions for the mounting screws.
  3. Drill Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit, drill holes at the marked positions. Insert the provided wall plugs into the drilled holes.
  4. Mount the Light: Align the light fixture with the drilled holes and secure it firmly using the provided screws.
  5. Adjust Lamp Heads and Solar Panel: Once mounted, adjust the three lamp heads and the solar panel to your desired angles. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum sunlight.

6. Operating Instructions

Your FLITI Solar Outdoor Light operates automatically based on light conditions and motion detection:

  • Automatic Charging: During the day, the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity and stores it in the internal battery.
  • Automatic Activation: At dusk, the light will enter standby mode. When the motion sensor detects movement within its range (up to 35 feet and 270° angle), the lights will automatically turn on at full brightness.
  • Automatic Deactivation: After a period of no motion detection, the lights will either dim or turn off completely, depending on the selected operating mode.
  • Remote Control: Use the included remote control to select different lighting modes and adjust settings as desired. Refer to the 'Remote Control Functions' section for details.

7. Remote Control Functions

The remote control allows you to customize the operation of your solar lights. While specific button functions may vary slightly, common modes typically include:

  • Motion Sensor Mode: Light turns on at full brightness when motion is detected and turns off after a set time without motion.
  • Dim Light + Motion Sensor Mode: Light stays on at a dim level and brightens to full when motion is detected, then returns to dim.
  • Always On Mode: Light stays on at a constant brightness (often dim to conserve battery) from dusk till dawn.
  • On/Off Button: Manually turn the light on or off.

Refer to the labels on your specific remote control for precise button functions and mode descriptions.

8. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your solar lights:

  • Clean the Solar Panel: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
  • Check Mounting: Occasionally inspect the mounting screws and brackets to ensure the light fixture remains securely attached to the wall.
  • Clear Obstructions: Ensure no new obstructions (e.g., growing branches) are blocking direct sunlight to the solar panel or interfering with the motion sensor's field of view.

9. Troubleshooting

If your FLITI Solar Outdoor Light is not functioning as expected, consider the following:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Light does not turn on at night.
  • Insufficient sunlight for charging.
  • Solar panel is dirty.
  • Battery is depleted or faulty.
  • Light is in 'OFF' mode.
  • Relocate the light to an area with more direct sunlight.
  • Clean the solar panel.
  • Allow 1-2 sunny days for full charge. If problem persists, contact support.
  • Use the remote control to switch to an 'ON' or motion-sensing mode.
Light stays dim or only works for a short period.
  • Inadequate charging.
  • Battery capacity reduced due to age or cold weather.
  • Ensure solar panel is clean and receives full sun.
  • Consider battery replacement if outside warranty.
Motion sensor is not detecting movement.
  • Sensor is obstructed.
  • Incorrect angle adjustment.
  • Ambient light interference.
  • Clear any objects blocking the sensor.
  • Adjust the sensor head to cover the desired area.
  • Ensure no other bright lights are interfering with the sensor.
