Setup

Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to the furthest position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to move the hands until the desired time is set.
  3. Push the crown back in to its original position to start the watch.

Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to the first click position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise to advance the date. If the date changes during the day, adjust it to the previous day and then advance the time to the correct date.
  3. Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown back in to its original position.

Adjusting the Bracelet

The watch features an adjustable link bracelet. To ensure a comfortable fit, links may need to be added or removed. This process typically requires specialized tools and is best performed by a professional jeweler or watch repair service. Refer to the image below for a view of the bracelet and clasp mechanism.

Operating

Basic Timekeeping

Once the time is set, the watch will continuously display the current time. The luminous hands and markers provide visibility in low-light conditions.

Date Function

The date calendar window automatically advances the date once every 24 hours. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, you may need to manually adjust the date as described in the 'Setting the Date' section.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 165 feet (50M). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. Do not operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. For the metal bracelet, a soft brush can be used to remove dirt from between the links. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz movement and requires a battery. When the watch stops running, it indicates that the battery needs replacement. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.

Water Resistance Care

To maintain the water resistance of your watch, ensure the crown is always fully pushed in. Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes, as this can affect the seals. If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
