3.1 Control Buttons and Ports
- POWER Button: Turns the unit on or off.
- MODE/PROG Button: Selects input source (CD, FM, USB, AUX) and initiates program function in CD mode.
- FUN. Button: Function button (specific function may vary by mode).
- PLAY/PAUSE Button (►/−−): Starts or pauses playback.

4. Setup
4.1 Power Connection
The CDR614UWH can be powered by AC mains or batteries.
- AC Power: Connect the supplied AC power cable to the AC input jack on the unit and then to a standard wall outlet.
- Battery Power: For portable use, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Insert 6 x "Baby C" size batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
4.2 Antenna Adjustment
For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna. Adjust its position and direction to achieve the clearest signal.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
- Select Mode: Press the MODE/PROG button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: CD, FM, USB, AUX. The selected mode will be displayed on the screen.
- Adjust Volume: Use the VOL- and VOL+ buttons to increase or decrease the volume level.
5.2 FM Radio Mode
- Switch the unit to FM mode using the MODE/PROG button.
- Extend the telescopic antenna for best reception.
- Press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to manually tune to a desired frequency. Press and hold these buttons for automatic station scanning.
5.3 CD Playback Mode
- Switch the unit to CD mode using the MODE/PROG button.
- Open the CD compartment cover.
- Place a CD (CD, CD-R, or CD-RW) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover securely. The unit will read the disc, and the total number of tracks will be displayed.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (►/−−) to start playback.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (►/−−) again to pause playback, and press it once more to resume.
- Press the STOP button (■) to stop playback.
- Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to skip to the previous or next track. Press and hold to fast forward or rewind within a track.
5.3.1 Program Playback (CD)
You can program up to 20 tracks to play in a specific order.
- In CD stop mode, press the MODE/PROG button. "PROG" will flash on the display.
- Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to select the desired track number.
- Press the MODE/PROG button again to confirm and store the track.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add up to 20 tracks to the program list.
- After programming all desired tracks, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (►/−−) to start program playback.
- To clear the program, press the STOP button (■) twice.
5.4 USB Playback Mode
- Insert a USB storage device containing MP3 audio files into the USB port.
- Switch the unit to USB mode using the MODE/PROG button. The unit will automatically begin playing MP3 files from the USB device.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, and SKIP/SEARCH buttons as described in the CD Playback section to control playback.
5.5 AUX-IN Mode
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX-IN jack using a compatible audio cable (not included).
- Switch the unit to AUX mode using the MODE/PROG button.
- Control playback (play, pause, skip) directly from your connected external audio device. The CDR614UWH will act as a speaker.
- Adjust the volume using the VOL- and VOL+ buttons on the CDR614UWH, and also on your external device for optimal sound.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free from scratches. Store them in their cases when not in use.
