3. Assembly Instructions
The METRO Super Erecta shelving unit is designed for tool-free assembly. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Connect Posts: If your posts are in two sections, connect the top posts (with threaded connectors) to the bottom posts (with leveling bolts) by screwing them together until secure.
- Attach Split Sleeves: Select the desired height for your first shelf. Snap two split sleeves around each post at the same groove level. Ensure the tapered side of the sleeves faces downwards.
- Install First Shelf: Slide the first wire shelf over the posts, ensuring each corner fits securely over the split sleeves. Press down firmly on the shelf to seat it properly.
- Install Remaining Shelves: Repeat step 2 and 3 for the remaining shelves, positioning them at your desired heights.
- Secure Shelves: Once all shelves are in place, use a rubber mallet to gently tap down on each corner of every shelf. This ensures the shelves are fully seated and locked onto the split sleeves.
- Level the Unit: Adjust the leveling bolts at the bottom of each post to ensure the unit is stable and level on your floor surface.
