2. Install the Track
- The aluminum box track is 48 inches long. It can be cut to a custom length if needed using a hacksaw.

- Secure the track to the header or ceiling using the provided mounting screws. Pre-drilling pilot holes is recommended.

4. Hang the Doors
- Carefully lift each door and engage the rollers into the track. The bypass design allows one door to slide in front of the other.
- Adjust the height of the doors using the provided tool on the roller mechanisms to ensure they hang evenly and clear the floor.

5. Install Floor Guide, Door Stop, and Finger Pulls
- Install the floor guide at the bottom of the door opening to keep the doors aligned and prevent swinging.
- Attach the door stop to the track to limit the travel of the doors and prevent them from sliding too far.
- Install the finger pulls onto the doors as desired for easy opening and closing.

Operation
Once installed, your EaseLife bypass sliding doors will operate smoothly and quietly. Gently push or pull the doors using the finger pulls to open or close them. The ball bearing rollers ensure minimal friction and noise.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the aluminum track and rollers periodically with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Lubrication: If the doors begin to feel stiff or noisy, apply a silicone-based lubricant to the roller bearings and inside the track. Do not use oil-based lubricants as they can attract dirt.
- Inspection: Regularly check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary. Inspect rollers for any signs of wear or damage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Doors do not slide smoothly or are noisy. | Dust or debris in the track; rollers need lubrication; worn rollers. | Clean the track thoroughly. Apply silicone lubricant to rollers and track. Inspect and replace worn rollers if necessary. |
| Doors drift open or closed. | Track is not perfectly level. | Check the track with a level and adjust mounting points as needed to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. |
| Doors are difficult to install or remove. | Rollers not properly engaged or locking tab not used. | Ensure rollers are correctly seated in the track. Utilize the quick-release locking tab for easier installation/removal. |
| Screws loosen over time. | Vibration or improper initial tightening. | Periodically check and re-tighten all mounting screws. Consider using thread locker if persistent. |
