4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Compatibility Check
This AHD backup camera supports AHD 1080P 25HZ/PAL video signal format only. Ensure your monitor or head unit is compatible with this specific format. Some Android head units may have AHD settings but might not actually support AHD imaging. In such cases, you may need to use the CVBS video signal, which provides a resolution of 1280x720 and a 120-degree view angle.

4.2 Wiring Diagram
Refer to the diagram below for proper wiring connections. The camera can be connected to a head unit with or without a trigger wire, depending on your vehicle's setup.

4.3 Cable Switching Options
The camera features three switcher cables for customizing its functionality:
- White Cable: Cut to switch from mirror image (default rear view) to non-mirror image (front view).
- Orange Cable: Cut to switch from AHD video signal (default) to CVBS video signal. This is necessary if your monitor only supports CVBS.
- Green Cable: Cut to turn off the parking guide lines.
Important: Always reconnect the power supply after cutting any cable. Cables can be reconnected if needed.

4.4 Installation Positions
The camera's 360-degree rotatable body and included accessories allow for flexible mounting in various positions:
- Front bumper/grille (front view)
- Rear deck lid/rear top/trunk handle/fender/5th wheel/tailgate (rear view)
- Below the side mirror or on the car body (side view)
An extra silicone shell is provided if you prefer not to drill a large hole for installation.

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed and properly connected, the camera will activate automatically when the vehicle is put into reverse (if wired to the reverse light trigger). The video feed will display on your compatible monitor or head unit. Adjust the camera's physical angle using the mini wrench provided to achieve the best view.

6. Maintenance
The GreenYi AHD 1080P Backup Camera is designed with an IP68 waterproof rating, ensuring durability against water and dust. Regular cleaning of the lens with a soft, damp cloth is recommended to maintain optimal image clarity. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the lens or housing.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Image Display:
- Verify your monitor/head unit supports AHD 1080P 25HZ/PAL. If not, cut the orange cable to switch to CVBS signal.
- Check all wiring connections, ensuring they are secure and correctly matched according to the wiring diagram.
- Ensure the camera is receiving power.
- Incorrect Image Orientation (e.g., mirrored for front view):
- Cut the white cable to switch between mirror and non-mirror images.
- Guide Lines Not Appearing or Always On:
- Cut the green cable to toggle the guide lines on or off.
- Poor Image Quality:
- Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from dirt or obstructions.
- Confirm your monitor/head unit is set to the correct AHD 1080P 25HZ/PAL input.
