4.1 Physical Installation

The PopBloom RL90 WiFi LED light comes with a suspension kit for mounting. Ensure the light is securely positioned above your aquarium to provide even light distribution. Refer to the diagrams below for typical installation methods.

4.2 App Download and Connection

To control your PopBloom RL90 WiFi LED light, download the SmartLife app on your smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS). Ensure your device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

1. Download the SmartLife app from your device's app store.
2. Open the app and create an account or log in.
3. Ensure your phone's WiFi and Bluetooth are enabled.
4. In the app, select 'Add Device' and allow it to automatically search for PopBloom lamps.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your light(s) to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password.
6. Once connected, you can name each lamp for easy identification.

5. Operating Instructions

The SmartLife app provides comprehensive control over your PopBloom RL90 WiFi LED Aquarium Light. You can manage individual lights or group them for synchronized control.

5.1 Group Control

If you have multiple RL90 lights, you can create a group within the SmartLife app to control them simultaneously. This allows for uniform lighting across your aquarium.

5.2 Manual Mode

Adjust the intensity of each of the four channels (Ch1, Ch2, Ch3, Ch4) independently to achieve your desired spectrum and brightness. This mode allows for precise customization of your aquarium lighting.

5.3 Preset Programs

The app offers 16 preset programs designed for various aquarium types and conditions, including SPS dominant, LPS & Soft coral, Fish & Plants, and different seasonal simulations (Tropical Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter; Temperate Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). Select a program that best suits your aquarium's needs.

5.4 Custom Program (DIY Mode)

You can create and edit your own 24-hour lighting program. Set start and end times, and adjust the color and brightness for each channel at different time points. A maximum of 16 custom programs can be saved.

5.5 Natural Simulations

The RL90 WiFi light can simulate natural phenomena:

• Sunrise & Sunset: Gradually increases and decreases light intensity to mimic natural dawn and dusk.
• Lunar Cycle: Activates a 29-day lunar cycle, adjusting light intensity to simulate moon phases.
• Lightning: Randomly simulates lightning during a storm.
• 4 Seasons: Adjusts lighting parameters to simulate seasonal changes.

5.6 Acclimation Function

The acclimation schedule helps your corals, fish, and plants adapt to new lighting environments. It gradually increases light intensity over a set period, starting from a lower intensity to prevent shock.
