- Connect Bidet Hose: Connect one end of the provided bidet hose to the T-valve and the other end to the inlet on the side of the bidet attachment. Hand-tighten all connections, then use an adjustable wrench for a quarter-turn to ensure a secure, leak-free fit.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning the Nozzles
- To clean the nozzles, gently pull them out manually.
- Use a soft brush and mild soap to clean the nozzle tips.
- Rinse thoroughly with water and push them back into their retracted position.
3.2 General Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the bidet attachment with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools, as these can damage the finish.
3.3 Winterization
As a non-electric bidet, the SlimEdge does not require complex winterization procedures. However, if the bidet is installed in an unheated area where temperatures may drop below freezing, it is recommended to:
- Shut off the water supply to the bidet.
- Disconnect the bidet hose and drain any remaining water from the bidet and hose to prevent freezing and potential damage.
4. Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Water Leakage | Loose connections, missing/damaged washer | Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then use a wrench for a quarter-turn. Check that all washers are correctly installed. |
| No Water Flow | Water supply valve is closed, bidet hose kinked | Open the water supply valve fully. Check the bidet hose for any kinks or obstructions. |
| Weak Water Spray | Partially closed water supply, clogged nozzles | Ensure the water supply valve is fully open. Clean the nozzles as described in the Maintenance section. |
| Toilet Seat Wobbles | No bumpers or incorrect bumper placement | Install or adjust the included toilet seat bumpers to provide stable support for the toilet seat. |
