Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your appliance.

  1. Cool Down: Always ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
  2. Removable Parts: The granite stone, grill plate, and raclette pans are removable. Wash them with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak them for a short period before cleaning. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick coating and granite surface.
  3. Main Unit: Wipe the main heating unit and base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid. Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
  4. Wooden Spatulas: Hand wash the wooden spatulas with mild soap and water, then dry immediately. Do not soak them or put them in a dishwasher, as this can cause the wood to warp or crack.
